Our building practices are in harmony with nature, accepting and preparing for future fires and other weather extremes. Our homes and surrounding area will be cleared of flammable materials. This can be accomplished by disconnecting the house from high and/or low-intensity fire that could occur around it, and by being conscious of the devastating effects of wind driven embers.
