This particular science of morality, politics, administration, welfare and economics as prescribed in the Vedas is on the verge of extinction. Modern politics, civil and criminal laws, judiciary and police enforcement are, on the whole, not really effective in providing services to people as expected, primarily due to the constitution. In addition, some laws are largely speculative and systems are whimsical without references to age-old scriptures.
One survey reveals that students who study Law, the constitution and politics become successful in their career because they spend more time understanding the flaws and loop holes rather than the purpose and application to distinguish them with modern codes.
The course was partly designed by Hari Kirtan das. HG Isvara Puri das, a law student, took the trouble to come all the way from Gujarat to explain the modern law and the types of law systems in practice. He presented a few case studies that portrayed the flaws in modern law. He also demonstrated how some individuals take advantage of these flaws for their selfish ends.
