Ways to Join Vedic Eco Village:
Visitor - come for a few days and get oriented to the Vedic paradigm in Western Canada
Volunteer - register and experience 28 day immersion and participation in village life
Voyager - mobile, self contained, gone through orientation, free to come and go as they please
Villager - participating in daily life over multiple seasons, committed to manifesting a Vrindavan village
Welcome Process:
☐ Meet & Greet + Q&A
-talk online via any platform you have (Zoom, Whatsapp, Telegram, FB, etc).
☐ Visit and Orientation (1-3 days)
- join a tour of the eco village and get a sense of Vedic living off-grid
- lend a hand in the kitchen, garden, forest, and help with building projects
Before planning a long term stay, making a short visit will help to immerse yourself in the reality of pioneering off the grid, Vedic style. We recommend returning home, taking time to reflect, and plan to come back fully prepared.
☐ Return as a Volunteer
- Join our daily training camp for Vedic living off-grid
First week: experience a range of activities and projects while absorbing the larger vision for the village
Second week: choose a role, as many as you are capable of committing to. Plug in to the ecosystem.
Third week: choose a project, receive required training to operate independently, take a leadership role.
Fourth week: complete something, reflect on everything you experienced throughout your first moon.
- Volunteers can stay up to 28 days in a row to a maximum of 90 days per year
