We are heading into hot fire season, due to decades of forest neglect, we can shift focus from thinning and moisture retention zones to preparation for fire season and planning for this coming fall/winter/spring thinning and moisture retention zone schedule.

Blue Earth Forest Farm continues it’s hand thinning and firesmarting program: thinned, spaced, built swales on contour to bio mimic large dead down to act as moisture reservoirs, fencing material, saw logs for the mill and firewood came out in abundance; and the forest as Krsna intended it to be is now visible in its natural splendour.
