We are striving for economic self sufficiency to fulfill the material and spiritual needs of our community and the next generations. We will continue to build the Eco Village while providing sustenance and security for our members. Opportunities are available for serving cow pilgrims, eco tourism, farming, timber framing, cob building, tent raising, and landscaping are unlimited.
We are seeking people to help build eco village infrastructure and expand farming, cow care, ox power and food sovereignty. Key developments are cows barns, grazing land fences and a Goshala foundation in the colony. Our building projects and facilities for volunteers are advancing thanks to our mill and abundant lumber.

Eco Village expansion plan: 2026 to 2030
Phase 1: Securing cows and their food
The Desi cows and bulls in our neighbouring Saranagati Village need a better cold weather facility and the next generation of herd management. Like many Goshalas, there is the opportunity to adopt or "Purchase a Cow", taking on the financial responsibility for the cow's needs while they remain in the care of the goshala. Our proposal is the "purchase" of the cows at Ahimsa Goshala, transitioning ownership in a way that maintains the legacy of the Goshala and ensures the care and comfort of the cows. $108,000
Phase 2: Expanding goshala and guest facility
Cow care requires various roles: cleaning, feeding, hands on massaging and brushing, medical care and hoof maintenance, herd and grazing management, animal husbandry, building infrastructure, growing and harvesting hay and other eatables. There are many pilgrims seeking the blessings of Gomata, and guest facilities, prasadam distribution, and general hospitality are essential services. To manage these aspects, a capable team is needed to oversee the operation. Construction of the goshala and guest cabins, wall tents, yurts, washing and cooking facility is primary. $108,000
Phase 3: Securing the land and conservation trust
Land ownership is a contentious topic all over the world, and very much so in our region. We would like to see this land protected from corporate interests and government overreach; the original stewards of the land able to return, practice and teach the sustainable traditional technologies specific to this part of Mother Bhumi. 108 acres of farm and forest, protected by local private contracts and a land conservation trust will become a haven of Vedic living for generations to come. $1,080,000
Phase 4: fencing perimeter, gates and guard posts
Good fences make good neighbours. A perimeter fence around the entire property will be patrolled by Ksatriyas on horseback, ensuring the security of cows, villagers, and crops. Movable fences for grazing practices will be made out of burned trees, sitting on top of the earth to preserve longevity and ease of movement. Gates at the entrance to the land, the village outskirts, and within the village square will have people stationed to control the flow of guests and others passing through. $108,000
Phase 5: Mandir, Kitchen and Prasadam Hall
Our ultimate protection is given by the Lord, and all activities in the village are offered to the Lord for his blessings of continued success and abundance. The Mandir will be at the center of the village and activities, offering seva opportunities in a sattvic atmosphere. $108,000
