Preparing to Go Off-Grid

Many people around the world are considering an off-grid lifestyle, whether that means self-sufficient homesteading or a nomadic way of life. Whatever the reason, there is no better time to start getting ready for a shift.

Whether it's disaster preparedness or the pursuit of freedom, this process is about more than just buying the right tools and stocking up on our favourite foods. It's a frame of mind, a way of being, and a detoxification that takes time and dedication.

Here is a list of recommended processes to help prepare for the change:

Imagine life without money, stores, or internet. These staples of modern life will continue, even as they morph and change. Access to them will become dependent on your willingness to comply with these changes. Take time to simply imagine your life without access to the things that have become necessities, despite existing for a blip of human existence.

Do a parasite cleanse. Parasites are a natural part of our ecosystem. The modern diet makes humans susceptible to being totally overrun with parasites, an imbalance that impacts every aspect of life. Don't underestimate how much sway these tiny beings have over the conscious and unconscious choices we make, from what and when to eat, to subtler emotional decisions. There are many methods and remedies available to bring our systems back into balance.

Discover your purpose. Every being has a reason for existing in this time, place and circumstance. Reflect on what it is that drives you, makes you feel alive, fulfilled, and enriching the world around you. Learn the skills required to provide your unique service to humanity.

Don't wait until the last minute. Many imagine they will be able to make a clean break from the system when the going gets tough. All of the previously mentioned steps take time, are not be easy to start, let alone maintain, and some never end. Do yourself a favour and make space for discovery without the pressure of a crisis situation. Don't plan an escape, embark on a journey.

Everyone has parasites or parasitic infections, often without symptoms. Many people may not notice they have an infection because they have few symptoms.
