The Varnasrama College students along with some of the Faculty members took part in various enlivening festivals during the two weeklong courses.
One of the highlights was the Shoba Yatra taking Srila Prabhupada who was carried by four strong devotees and also taking Sri Sri Kanai Dauji and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai on a cart pulled by devotees.
As the procession circumambulated throughout the campus, passing along the Raja Marga amidst the green foliage at SSKBK, devotees enthusiastically chanted the Holy Names, Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare all along playing mrdangas and kartalas.
Everyone was very ecstatic to perform the Shoba Yatra, a rare sight and a rare treat for the residents at SSKBK.
