Learn about natural building to live sustainably, off-grid, and connected to the earth. There's a lot of manual labor involved in building a natural house, however the structures can last for many year.
Our aim is to construct quality living earth structures, benches, art & wood fired ovens
The workshops encourage community involvement, promoting a healthy, simple and creative lifestyle harmonious with the flow of Mother Nature. By constructing our living spaces in a natural way, we keep our lives simple yet sublime
Natural Materials
Cob is made from local materials: straw, earth, clay and cow dung. The clay comes from our ponds and lakes. The straw is coming from tall grass cut in our garden and dried in the hot sun. The cow manure comes from "visiting" cows to our village.
We log standing burned trees as needed. Good logs will be used for building materials, remaining tree materials used for diversion berms and forest nourishment. This will increase biodiversity and animal habitats, decrease soil erosion, and improve water quality and the water cycle.
Our aim is to construct high quality living earth structures, such as cob benches, wood fired ovens, and adobe saunas encouraging community involvement through educational workshops and gatherings around the finished project, promoting a healthy, simple and creative lifestyle harmonious with the flow of Mother Nature.
