We follow the values of Vedic culture, namely the importance of cows, land and knowledge. The Eco Village covers 70 acres of farmland, forest and hills in a remote mountain valley south of Saranagati Village in Western Canada.
Key plots to develop are the GoShala, gardens, kitchen, Patha Shala (Learning Center), Yoga Shala, Library and Yajna Shala. We have begun implementing certain aspects of the master plan starting with infrastructure: water, roads, gardens and living facilities. Join us in daily building, farm, food preparation/preservation and cow care.
We have begun implementing certain aspects of the overall project starting with infrastructure: water, roads, gardens and living facilities. We need more people to expand the eco village. New guest facilities will attract workers for infrastructure building & farming.
Next Steps:
- build campground and volunteer facilities
- build learning center: facility for workshops, classes, seminars
- start daily training camp for vedic living off grid
- replace plastic greenhouse with walipini
- move seed bank and library underground
We are laying the foundation for bringing about a gradual global social transformation through training education based on the ancient scientific principles and concepts of Sanatana Dharma. We are striving for self sufficiency to fulfill the material and spiritual needs of our community and the next generations.
This plan forms the basis of the Master Plan to gradually manifest a Vedic Eco Village.
