We are seeking people to participate in daily building, farm and food preparation. Our mission is to manifest the vision of Varnasrama villages, as proposed by Srila Prabhupada and our Acharyas. Varnasrama provides self sufficiency and fulfills the material and spiritual needs of our community and the next generations.
In modern society, we fight with nature. We are guilty of being part of the wrong kind of civilization. Here, instead of the insidious stream of new technologies, the residents are satisfied with traditional methods of living. We grow seasonal crops and maintain a garden and nut & fruit orchards.
The meaning of Daiva Varnasrama Dharma and its practical application will remain largely concealed if individuals do not leave their present comfort zones in the cities. This requires the accommodation of another paradigm, the village lifestyle paradigm. Only by spending quality time in the villages will the inner truths and secrets of Varnasrama Dharma become revealed. The principle of self-sufficiency and sustainability will only become manifest when one learns to live in a localized way rekindling one’s natural relationship with nature, the self (atma) and the super- self (param atma).
